Supporting Gilead Community Services Quizine for a Cause.

Quizine for a Cause is an exciting event that raises critical funds for client services supporting individuals on the road to recovery. Last night Gilead Community Services hosted 230 of Middlesex County’s community leaders in a night featuring excellent food, extraordinary desserts and a lively competition. The evening’s event began on Sunday evening at 5pm with 20 individual dinner parties hosted throughout the Middletown and Portland area.  Each of the 20 dinner hosts has donated the cost of their dinner party in support of Gilead’s mission. Each dinner party hosted approximately 10 guests.  At approximately 7pm all of the dinner party guests left the dinner party location to go to Beckham Hall at Wesleyan University for the second part of the evening. This part of the evening included homemade desserts, a live auction, wine tasting a trivia contest and more.  

Coughlin Service Corp became a Platinum Sponsor of this years event.  Members of the Coughlin family donated time to join the bord of directors for the event along with hosting a dinner party with 20 guests at their own residence.  A great time was had by all guests, all while supporting Gilead Community Services and their clients.

Every dollar raised during this event is put into a separate fund available to program staff and clients for items that directly improve the lives of the individuals they serve.
