Ways to Promote a Healthy Lawn.
Did you know that lawn clippings from a healthy lawn are 75% to 85% water and they’re packed with nutrients? As they decompose, they act as a natural fertilizer. It’s why we recommend leaving your clippings on the lawn (and not tossing them unceremoniously in the trash). No need to throw away all that free fertilizer. But remember to only cut the 1/3 of the total blade length. If you do notice lawn clippings on the top of the grass, give them another pass with the lawnmower.
